So my girlfriend and I are big gamers. I am a movie buff too and she likes movies, but doesn’t really know much about actors (The only one she knows is Johnny Depp). Anyways, we have watched a bunch of movies together, and she has had varying opinions on them, some I don’t really understand. I know my girlfriend is not a big movie buff, but she tends to over-analyze a movie. I’m not saying I don’t like that, I don’t care, it is just something I don’t understand. Here are the movies we have watched that she really didn’t like:
1. No Country for Old Men- okay, but it had no ending (she says it just stops at the “falling action” and there is no resolution)
2. Predator- stupid, and predictable
3. The Grey- exactly like predator, but with wolves, and is in Alaska, and is very predictable.
My opinion:
1. No Country for Old Men had a really, really good ending. The movie was awesome and made perfect sense to me.
2. Predator- also awesome, not predictable (she said it is like every other “survivor” movie out there.)
3. The Grey- practically the kind of movie I have always wanted to see. It had everything I wanted in it. But it wasn’t predictable. (She said it was always the person lagging behind that would die, or a music cue that would tell you when someone would die).
I know it is her opinion, I just don’t understand how her opinion is valid. They all are really good movies. She makes them sound like they were SyFy Channel Original Movies. I don’t really care if my girlfriend likes them or not (well, I do, but I hope you understand what I mean), I just think how she analyzes a movie can be applied to any movie to make it sound horrible.
Can anybody explain to me her views on these movies?

I’m a big fan of scary movies, and I read a fatwa from Al Azher (aka onislam.net) that said its perfectly fine to watch such movies. However, the ever so famous IslamQA said its not allowed.

I need the title of the movie made in the 50′s about a sleepwalking girl that has two boyfriends, one in her sleep and one in real life.

If I would become famous one day it would be because of acting…. But I want to start acting in movies (if i get a part in it) when I turn 17 (13 right now 14 on June 30th) would that be to old to start?…. I want to be someone when I grow up because no one else in my family ever went to collage or anything like that…. And how do you find auditions to be in a movie anyways? We watched it in my Spanish class, but I was absent that day so my teacher just told me to look up a summary of the movie for the project of it. I don’t need a billion little details, just the gist of the movie, a QUICK summary.

I remember seeing a film, documentary probably, not necessarily on Bob Dylan, with a scene that impressed me. We’re backstage and a group of musicians and groupies is sitting in a circle. Some music is handed down and play nice ballads . So Bob Dylan comes in and says “I’ll play a little trick I’ve made​​.” There, obviously his performance blows the others and he plays in a cathedral silence. When he finished, everyone is on his ***.
I would like to know where did this scene, . All I remember is that it was in black and white.

The summer following sophmore year I began smoking da herb and it was an amazing time in my life. Saw things from a new perspective, was a bit more social in classes, and made new friends because the ganja facilitates that(the weed community at my school was pretty large). After awhile though, i think I became emotionally depedent on it and it was a daily routine. I was arrested for it and my parents started a drug testing regime against me(I got around that though). I couldnt hang with my friends as much cause half the time I was grounded. I always liked smoking by myself and being grounded all the time enhanced this. As I turned 18 my parents really couldnt do anything so I started blazing with people again, but something strange started happening. When I would do something that would incite a negative/”what the hell?” response from people when high, I couldnt just laugh it off. For some reason I would trip out and take it to heart. After awhile it was if I became slectively mute and couldnt even hold a conversation with people other than my close friends while high. Now I barely even do that with my close friends . Its like im watching a movie and all I feel is tension/nervousness/depression and a blank mind. If I do talk its very bland and not interesting at all. I kept smoking (usually by myself) anyway cause i was dependent and it was something to do. Lost a lot of contact with my friends and basically became a couch potato and was depressed. Took me awhile to realize I had an issue and tried to quit many times but kept on doing it cause it is some prevalent in college. Just this winter I decided to quit. Although I feel a bit more clear minded. Im still not that confident when talking to people(unless boozed up) and spend a lot of time alone when im sober. Does this sound like depression and social anxiety?

Hello.This might be tricky but i am trying to find this movie but i forget the title..Its either korean or japanese war/ghost movie..I do remember key parts.The Main plot i ”think” is about a group of soldiers go to locate a friendly group that has gone missing but this ghostly voice which seems to be coming from a radio always saying the same things and asking for help but it is really a demonic ghost which also jumps from body to body when it is killed..There is a scene where one guy pisses on a sacred stone and was warned not too..another is when it was at night and one guy was doing a number 2 and thought he was being watched.Then at the very end one by one the force killed them all .well making them kill each other..but one survivor who was blind and. lived and a helicopter came..This movie was from the 80′s..But as the helicopter left the ghost voice came back on radio saying same thing and some of the words were this 39 unit or something requesting help but it was either in japanese or korean..not sure…I do remember a good scene towards the end..there were i think 4 guys left and then the force jumped into a very good guy who in return chopped a head off a wounded guy and then the lead asian guy blew the guy away with a m16..which later same guy who goes blind..I really hopes this helps as i know there were very few 80′s horror super natural war but not really war movie …Thank you .lol i really look forward to this .sorry for lousy spelling

I mean I download free music all the time with an app I have, and I want to do the same thing with movies. Specifically, “Idiocracy” is the movie I want to get. I want it to be directly to my phone, but if that’s not possible I guess I could accept a really easy transfer from my PC.
